As most of you already know, the ZARA sale started last week Friday. I only realized the sale was on when I opened my Grazia magazine at 10PM on Friday night, you can imagine my irritation.
I decided to brave the sale on Saturday, now we all know parking in Sandton City is just ridiculous, but I managed to park and shop. When I arrived in the store it was packed full of people. I scanned the shelves, looking for key unique pieces. I love ZARA clothing, it is exactly my style so the fact that they are on sale makes me very happy. After trying on a few bags (yes I stand in front of a mirror when choosing a handbag), shoes and tops, I eventually found the golden nugget!
The minute I spotted this shiny chunky heels, they practically begged me to take them home. A few months ago I spotted a similar pair of heels at Topshop, they were black with a gold metallic heel, but I did not manage to secure a pair and make them mine. In my mind I told myself the ZARA pair were not my size, you know how we always try to make ourselves feel better. I quickly slipped off my knee high boots and voilà they fit perfectly! What followed is quite simple, I bought the shoes and I am soo happy! The colour in the photos is a bit misleading, the shoes are grey and the heels are a ,metallic grey colour.
