Lucky Brand will be launching a CSI initiative on 16 April 2014 that is simply too good to resist: shoppers bringing a pair of their worn jeans into Lucky Brand Eastgate and Centurian Mall stores will receive a fifty percent discount on the purchase of a new pair of Lucky Brand denims. And what’s more, all jeans collected during the promotion will be donated to the SOS Children’s Villages which run a drive in Port Elizabeth – denims collected will be repurposed into other denim products.

The brand is available in selected Edgars stores as well as a flagship store in Eastgate and a newly-opened store in Centurion Mall. I was invited to the Easgate store last week for a night of spoils. I was given the opportunity to try on some jeans and pick a pair I wanted, in return I donated a pair of my own jeans. We were then given a mini make-over from a GOSH make-up artist. I then raided the store to complete my outfit. Have a look at the end product.
