I previously mentioned that I traveled to Angola. One of the perks of international travel is the “Duty Free” shopping that is available on the airplane. Well I took advantage of it as my birthday was coming up and I really had no idea what to get myself. It was love at first site when I saw this stunning Victoria’s Secret palette. I had a choice between this palette and a Lancome palette, however when it came to value for money I decided with this palette.
Packaging

I love that the palette has a mirror on the top so that you can see the end result of your make-up application. It also makes the packaging look more premium. The pack of the packaging has a little stand which acts as a mirror stand when you pull it out. The only negative about the mirror is that it is not really that practical to travel with.
Contents

The shadows are really gorgeous and pigmented. Their are matte and shimmer shadows. This palette is all you need as it has so many colours to choose from. It also includes a light and dark eyebrow pencil and mascara. The blush options are gorgeous and their is bronzers and a highlight as well. The size of the palette is also perfect to slip into your bag.
I have always heard good things about Victoria Secret products, from their body creams to their lingerie and perfume line. I cannot wait for the first Victoria’s Secret store to open in Sandton!
