A while back I posted about the re-launch of Benefit Cosmetics in South Africa and in the post I mentioned all the locations around South Africa where you could purchase the brand from. The San Francisco based company was co-founded by sisters Jean and Jane Ford in 1976. Their mantra is ‘make-up doesn’t have to be serious to look good’ and this has set the tone and overall theme for their cosmetic brand. Their fun-loving, playful and somewhat cheeky attitude towards beauty is reflected in their products.
Well I was delighted to find out that Edgars in Menlyn was opening a Benefit stand. Now if you are a Pretoria girl like me then you will do a *happy dance* as you no longer have to go all the way to Sandton to spoil yourself.Look out for that colourful stand that is sure to catch your makeup-loving eye – you really cannot miss all the girly pink! A few bloggers and I spent the morning being introduced to all the products as well as having make-overs and brow-overs.
Now Benefit’s one claim to fame is their brow products and I had the opportunity to get my brows – browtified by Lebo in store, I highly recommend her, she honestly kept me laughing throughout the whole experience. I am very intimidated by brows – but no more…behold my first brow make-over:
