I was so excited to attend the Magnum Interactive workshop last week. It was hosted by the lovely Danielle Postma from Moemas patisserie and food shop.we were celebrating the launch of Magnums new red velvet ice cream (Yum). She showed us how to pair the ice cream with a number of delicious goodies. I love watching her talk about food, her passion is amazing and shows through her personality.

Making your MagnumOnce we were done we had the opportunity to create our own ice cream. Firstly you need to choose 3 toppings, I chose: Chocolate coated honeycomb,white chocolate balls and almonds. I definitely kept my ice cream on the safe side as there was some interesting toppings like chillies, coarse salt etc. I then hat to choose what type of chocolate I wanted my ice cream dipped in (dark,milk or white chocolate), I chose dark chocolate. My my topping as then sprinkled on my ice cream and milk chocolate drizzle was placed on top of everything to seal the deal.
The experience as a whole is really fantastic, the staff there are so friendly and the chocolate and toppings used was of the best quality. The step by step process adds to the excitment and the end product is pure deliciousness!

The Magnum Joburg concept store will open its doors to the public on Saturday 1st November and run until Wednesday 24th December.

Monday – Thursday 10am – 8pm
Friday – Saturday 9am – 8pm
Sunday – 10am – 5pm
