Happy Birthday to me! Part 1

So it was that time of the year once again yesterday!Yes my birthday….. So I decided to celebrate in style:)

I started off with breakfast with my mother at a gorgeous coffee shop called “Succulent Cafe”,its brand new to Pretoria and I am loving it already! Firstly the decor is fantastic, all around you, are vintage inspired furniture in all colors of the rainbow. The cafe also extends into a store where you can buy fresh flowers from their florist,buy vintage goods or buy some nougat or jewelery and much more. There is a little something for everyone.The menu has an array of tasty pastries and juices to die for. I fell in love with the huge tea cup lights on the roof!

One thing that caught my attention was their “Best friend Fridays” get together where clearly a best friend is something money cannot buy and so they celebrate the splendor and sacredness of friendship by inviting you and your best friend to join them for a cappuccino and a special slice of their fabulous cake of the week. I love this idea and I think it is something that should be incorporated into everyone’s lives:)

I later traveled to Bedfordview with a friend to lunch at a Portuguese bakery called “Bembom” which is fantastic, I felt right at home!

I ended the evening having a lovely dinner and a movie with my brother and new friends at Cantare Supper Club at Montecasino. Dinner and cocktails were fantastic!
