Does that not sound inviting? I might be late to the party on this one, but I will be the first to admit the package of this lip oil sold me the minute I saw it! I struggle with keeping my lips moisturised and looking healthy in winter. I am not the type of person who reapplies lipstick every hour. I usually end up with sore lips because I bite the dry skin off. Every time I look at the packaging all I want to do is whip up a cocktail!
Move over Juicy Tubes (remember these – I still have one!) and make way for the new Lancome Juicy Shaker! Lancome Juicy Shakers are a new tinted lip oil with a glossy finish that’s available globally 20 shades and flavors. In south Africa we should have at least 8-10 shades, I could not make up my mind!
These tinted lip oils have a bi phased (lip oil + pigment) formula with nourishing lip oils with beautiful pigments for plump but natural looking, glossy lips. These nourishing oils contain sweet almond oil, omega 3 and cranberry oil. The healthy oils your lips crave – well mine do.
The cushion applicator is soft to the touch, allowing the gloss to moisturise your lips. The applicator absorbs just the right amount of pigment and the shape hugs the lips contours. The nourishing oils in the formula is non sticky and non-drying, making lips feel soft and kissable.
These super fun tinted lip oils are perfect for on the go application. You no longer need to apply dull lip balm, these Juicy Shakers double as a gloss and a lip balm for the perfect winter companion! The ranger is quite deserve and is available in a number of shades.
I picked Berry Tale #372 because I felt these best matched my skin tone and colour range of lipsticks. I would have loved one or two more shades however this product is a splurge item and relatively affordable. Here is how I suggest you use it:
– Shake like a cocktail shaker to mix the pigment and oil together.
– Tap the cushion applicator onto lips for a tint of color with sheer finish.
-For a more pigmented look build a base using lip liner or matte lipstick then tap on Juicy Shaker.
These Juicy Shaker’s are a highly innovative with great packaging. They apply sheer but are extremely moisturising and that for me is a winner. I have seen some more affordable brands coming up with similar products, if I find a dupe I will let you know on one of my channels.
